The majestic Walt Disney Castle, sparkling against a vibrant sky. Now, what’s a beautiful picture without somethin’ to follow it up with? I’m thinkin’ we need a little somethin’ sweet, somethin’ that reminds us of the magic and wonder of childhood. How ‘bout a classic: Mickey Mouse Pancakes!

Mickey Mouse Pancakes Recipe

These ain’t just your regular pancakes, y’all. These are Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes, guaranteed to bring a smile to even the grumpiest face. Get ready to whip up a batch of happiness!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • Vanilla extract (a splash, for good measure!)
  • Cooking spray
  • Chocolate chips (for the ears, of course!)

Instructions:

  1. First things first, grab a big bowl. In that bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Get it all nice and mixed up.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and that splash of vanilla. Don’t be shy with the vanilla!
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Don’t overmix, honey! A few lumps are perfectly fine.
  4. Heat up your griddle or frying pan over medium heat. Give it a good spray with that cooking spray. We don’t want no stickin’!
  5. Now for the fun part! Pour the batter onto the hot griddle to form Mickey Mouse shapes. You can use a spoon to shape the ears, or get fancy with a piping bag if you’re feelin’ extra.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Flip ’em carefully, now!
  7. Remove the pancakes from the griddle and place them on a plate.
  8. While the pancakes are still warm, press chocolate chips into the top corners to make Mickey’s ears.
  9. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings. I’m talkin’ syrup, whipped cream, berries, the whole shebang!

There you have it, folks! A little Disney magic and a batch of delicious Mickey Mouse pancakes. Now go on and spread a little joy today, ya hear?
