  • 2 cups All-purpose flour (Maida)
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Warm water, as needed
  • Butter, for brushing

Butter Naan Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add yogurt and oil. Mix well with your hands.
  3. Gradually add warm water and knead into a soft and pliable dough.
  4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for at least 2 hours.
  5. After 2 hours, divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
  6. Roll each ball into an oval or round shape.
  7. Heat a tawa or griddle over medium-high heat.
